Transparency program

Share

We hold ourselves to the highest ethical standards and believe transparency builds the trust that is essential between people living with opioid use disorder (OUD), healthcare professionals, and the communities we serve. We collect and report transfers of value to healthcare professionals and organizations in line with the laws, regulations, and industry codes in every country where we operate. By disclosing these relationships, we strengthen confidence in our work and demonstrate our commitment to ethical business conduct.

Payments to US healthcare professionals and organisations

As an applicable manufacturer, we report transfers of value annually to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) through the Open Payments program (often referred to as the “Sunshine Act”). These transfers may include research funding, meals, travel, or speaking fees. Open Payments is a national initiative designed to increase transparency about financial relationships between healthcare providers and the healthcare industry.

Through the CMS Open Payments website, you can see information about our financial relationships with US physicians, non-physician practitioners, and teaching hospitals, as well as those providers’ relationships with other companies. Learn more about the Open Payments program

To view our previous disclosures of transfers of value to U.S. physicians, non-physician practitioners, and teaching hospitals — including speaking, advising, and consulting — follow these steps:

  1. Go to the CMS Open Payments website at https://openpaymentsdata.cms.gov
  2. Click the tab “Company Making Payments”
  3. Enter “Indivior” in the company search and click “Search”
  4. Select “Indivior” from the search results

The CMS tool will display a summary of our reported transfers of value. You can also search for more detailed information relating to individual physicians, non-physician practitioners, and teaching hospitals.

Certain U.S. states and localities have their own transparency laws and regulations. These often extend to additional categories of healthcare professionals and operate separately from federal reporting requirements. We comply fully with both federal and state regulations.

Transparency outside the U.S. (Rest of the World, ROW)

We are committed to meeting all transparency requirements wherever we operate. In countries outside the U.S. — including Australia and across Europe, Asia, and other regions — we disclose transfers of value to healthcare professionals and organisations in line with local laws, regulations, and industry codes.

For example, in Australia we comply with the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct, and our reports on transfers of value are publicly available on the Medicines Australia Transparency Reporting portal. In other countries, disclosures are published through the appropriate national or regional platforms, ensuring that those with OUD, healthcare providers, and partners can trust the integrity of our work worldwide.
